If you know where we are going - please tell me…….
What a large number of the prophecies are saying - and some of these come from a very long time ago and from totally unrelated cultures and backgrounds indeed – is that it is going to be change of a very sudden and very rapid nature in the very near future. Change like that is always disturbing and often has very unpleasant results. The point that there have “prophets of doom” who have predicted the “end of the world”, since time immemorial is perfectly true and there can be justification for dismissing, at least a lot of those predictions, as “crap!”. The difference between those utterances and what is happening today is the diversity of source. It is truly remarkable how such a wide range of cultures that have no relationship with one another at all, are saying essentially the same thing.
This kind of change has happened several times before in our Earth’s history and is pretty well documented. There are the very large craters left by asteroid or meteorite impact in several parts of the world. The biggest of them all is to be found right in our back yard at Vredefort. There is more than enough hard evidence that some of these events almost wiped out life completely. There is the story of the Atlantis disaster. There are many, many versions of this so take your pick (naturally I have my own!). One thing IS sure. Something happened and the effects were, shall we say, dramatic. The story of caves in the Mediterranean area that are full of a vast variety of animal bones that were smashed into a solid mass by a vast mass of water is well documented. The other tale of the carcasses of quick frozen mammoths that are still found in the Siberian permafrost with fresh tropical plants in their mouths is equally well documented. For us to have the idea that this sort of thing simply cannot happen to us is foolish. Mother Earth’s history is littered with the bones, literal and metaphorical, of catastrophic events.
What it boils down to is this – and I will repeat what I always say – do not believe a word that I say, but hear what I say. There is, for me, no doubt that the energies are building to some sort of climax. Precisely what form that climax will take I do not know and frankly I am not sure that it matters. It will be a climax. There is the obvious stuff like global warming and everything that is associated with that. There is a lot of stuff that is not quite so obvious.
Our behaviour as human beings is becoming more frenetic and excessive in every way. Wars, extremism of all kinds, levels of personal abuse, again of all kinds, are all on the increase and it is seemsunlikely that these levels can be sensibly contained. Certainly governments and the other conventional authorities appear quite powerless to do anything sensible. To use a flooding analogy – the banks will burst and seem close to doing just that. We tend to discount the massive levels of electromagnetic radiation that we subject ourselves to and there is more than enough evidence to show that our very DNA is being affected by this radiation. Levels of ADD and related stuff in our children is also on the increase.
Despite the trumpetings of modern medicine overall health levels are not great. We need all the modern drugs to counter stress and other insidious effects of our so-called civilisation to simply keep us going. At this time the only thing that seems to vary is the level of that self same crap I referred to earlier! Interesting times as Confucius is said to have said.

Hi Christopher
My response to “Where are we going” is sent with love ! It is not really where we are going but where I/you are going. You already know where I stand regarding this issue. Read John 3:16 and John 14:6. I follow J.C. as he is my only way in obtaining everlasting life … If I am wrong and if your belief is “right” and this would then be true universally cetaris paribas. I ask you “What if you’re wrong ?” … If I’m right I get everlasting life, if you’re right I get what you get … If you’re wrong you get nothing and it will be as if you never existed ! I don’t want that on my conscience so I hope that God / Jesus Christ will give you a personal experience ! Andrew Stockton …
You are quite right of course though I feel you misinterpret my writing. There is absolutely no chance whatsoever of it being as though I never existed. We will all get what we get. However there is more than a little truth in the dictum “as a man thinketh so shall it be unto him”. Work with this. It is not a matter of right or wrong. It is a matter of results and these flow not only from the belief system itself and its effect on the individual but also from its wider effects and implications on the broad spectrum of humanity. It is here that we need to be a bit more careful about what we believe in. I am very unsure of the results of your belief system on humanity as a whole.
Wonderful that you are thinking and I look forward to further conversation.
Hi Christopher,
This is a topic that has interested me for a while - there doesn’t seem to be any definitive logical conclusion or definitive outcome. So much is written yet it’s difficult to sort the wheat from the chaff - from JJ Hurtak’s “Key’s of Enoch” to extra-terrestrial abduction (a shamanic”birthing” process?) and theories about the end of the Mayan Calendar (often accompanied by the seemingly lunatic ravings brought on by some personal epiphany - when taken literally of course).
Personally I cannot believe that the future is cast in stone. The current confusion must be due to the nature of a multiplicity of possible outcomes - or at least in the details of how things are to be played out. We are presented with a set of possibilities and it is up to “collapse the wave function”. Due to the scale of the “problem” it seems that it will require a significant number of individuals for this to play out gracefully.

Hi
I would just like to offer this towards this conversation, it is an extract from Irvin Lazlo’s book, The chaos Point.
“We live in a chaotic system-more exactly, in the chaotic decision-window of a transforming system-and we are not passive bystanders but crucial participants. Our task in not to predict what will happen, but to tip the system so that what will happen corresponds in some measure to what we would like to happen. Fatalism is not the indicated attitude, nor is optimism or pessimism. The indicated attitude is activism.*
It is in this sense of system-changing activism that we should assess the out-look for our future. We must not forget to include ourselves in our calculation: At any time and in many ways, throughout the period of a decision-window, individuals can create conditions that at the Chaos Point can “kick” the system toward the evolution they hope for.”
*Activism as defined by a change in attitude and lifestyle to one of sustainability in the long term and a win-win (equality) for everyone, united in our diversity.
The Chaos Point by Ervin Laszlo (pages 83-84)
Many Blessings to You All
Yes cataclysmic events do happen and in the current one we have a definitive role to play in either pushing it over the edge or supporting it not to fall over .
I think that we experience a changing of systems and cultures ,structured more unstuctured , and our current way of thinking and way of doing is not getting the results we want due to the fact we are looking at what worked in the past and projecting it into the future. Maybe what we are going into is way different to what the planet and humanity has faced in the past just maybe we need to look into more up to date ways of dealing with the current chaos we are experiencing. If I knew what I would tell but maybe somebody else will. As a species we have never been this aware in the evolving of our species and maybe we need to start there in how we are changing on a molecular level and find systems to adapt to that on a spiritual and conscience level so that there is cohesion not dis -ease between body and spirit
What Laszlo appears to neglect is the intelligence of the and therefore the wishes and desires of the Transforming System itself. He is not wrong in his idea of activism and just because we choose or decide to be active does not mean that our interference - for that is what it is - will either wanted, welcomed or effective. Jung says “Vocatus atque non vocatus, deus aderit”. The deus here is the Transforming System and Man has ever been powerless when in the grip of the “deus” or archetype.
I am not sure that that we are now more aware than we have ever been in the past. There is more than a little evidence to suggest that we have been a great deal more aware in the past - to not much avail.
Either way it is true that we may not sit passively by and wait for something to happen. So the question for all of us is “What are you active with?”
I put in the website address of what I have been working on. Overall I would say that the world is stumbling, for a lack of love. We bailout banks while children starve.
I am aware that we have been more aware (of certain things) in the past. Overall what is interesting about the past is that the knowledge was more wholistic. e.g. the astrologers were the astronomers. On the other hand it is clear to me that all the previous societies had large areas of superstitious taboo, or if you like, unencountered shadow. This is still happening in todays religions. No killing, no stealing etc etc. It is found in all of them without exception and really it is supersticious crap, although obviously somewhat convenient for maintaining some kind of societal stability.
I see what you are saying with Lazlo missing ‘the desire of the system itself’ but is not the desire of the system in fact our own personal desire, assumming that we have caste light into large areas of shadow and are no longer afraid of change? Is that not the meaning of ‘ye are gods’. The personal and the beyond are one?
And even in the unclear state, how else to really delve into those shadow places, without at least owning the desire, and bringing love to it, even in it’s unevolved state.
The thing about man being powerless in the grip of the archetype, is that if man is not fighting the archetype, he is powerful beyond belief.
